I would like to examine why so many school shootings/mall shootings/workplace shootings

here in the STATES have been making the news lately.

I will devote a new page specifically for this purpose to help try and identify the problem..

what ever happened to the Temperature degree symbol? º

Image

What ever happened to that symbol to represent temperature on the keyboard?

It looks like this: º

Image

I use to use the º degree symbol all the time when I  used to write letters to my friends and family and tell them the current temperature, the high temperature for the day or the low temperature last night.

Image

For example yesterday here in TEXAS it was 102º F. It seems to me that at some point in the past 20-30 years the symbol was removed from a standard keyboard.

Image

The only way that I am able to use the symbol now is by cutting and pasting the symbol from a table of alternative symbols.
