While walking down the streets around sunrise, 7:00am, in downtown Harlingen, one can smell the bakeries baking bread and cookies as well as the local restaurants cooking breakfast. It makes one hungry just to walk by the bakeries and restaurants. Where to stop first? A bakery to buy bread, pastries and cookies or a restaurant to have a morning platter of eggs, sausage, hash browns and coffee?
